Parkway Community Church Pre-teen Youth Group
Pre-teens from Grades 3 through 8 meet the first and third Sundays of every month. Meetings are held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Church School room following the 10 a.m. worship service.
Meetings start off with a reading and discussion on a Bible-based story and a prayer, followed by crafts, games and other activities.
Each meeting’s activities are centered on a monthly theme. The theme for February is "Winter Fun." Meeting dates are Feb. 5 and Feb. 19.
Purpose Statement
The purpose of the Pre-teen Youth Group is to help pre-teens establish a better understanding of their religion, form friendships, to grow in their faith, and build strong bonds with others in faith.
In addition, the Pre-teen Youth Group aims to establish a strong moral foundation through religion, to help students use the knowledge learned to make positive decisions in their lives, and, ultimately, to become confident, self-assured individuals in fellowship with Christ’s church.
