First Step Nursery is a non-religious pre-k program serving families in Hicksville, Westbury, East Meadow, and Levittown since 1984.

Owned and operated by Parkway Community Church in Hicksville, N.Y., First Step Nursery offers a four-day flex schedule in addition to our two-, three- and five-day programs and an enrichment program for half-day kindergarten students.

To keep everyone informed of the dates, times and details of congregational meetings and activities, please check this calendar regularly. To make the calendar a little easier to read, we've omitted the following standing events:

Sunday Morning:

8:45 - Choir rehearsal
9:30 - Kidz Handbell practice
10:00 - Worship (we celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion the first Sunday of every month)
10:00 - Church School (children start out in church for words with the Pastor before going to their classrooms)
11:15 - Coffee and fellowship
11:30 - Choir rehearsal (resumes September 12)
